Mother's Day Plant Sale
This year we will be celebrating Mothers Day with a plant sale! We are teaming up with our friends at Sunflower and Swallow near Bezanson and will be bringing a variety of cut flower starts and Jen will have tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins and squash transplants for sale. Grab the Moms in your life and take a country drive to Jen’s farm, shop the plant sale, our seed selection and more! Dried Floral Line Art
Join me for an evening creating unique line art with dried florals hosted by Ember and Stone Curiosities. Choose from pre-printed designs or create your own and embellish with dried florals grown here on out farm. Take home 2 or more as time allows. $40/person. Head to the ‘Shop’ tab to book.
Seed Starting Fundamentals Class
Join me Feb. 18th from 2-4pm at the Sexsmith Civic Center for an afternoon learning about the fundamentals of Seed Starting! See and try the tools we use, try out soil blocking, learn when to start your seeds and how for healthy transplants and much more. Snacks from Ruby’s Charcuterie and coffee provided as well as printed class notes, a resource guide and a plan for and 8’ x 2’ cut flower garden. See you there!

The Forever Tree - Live Auction Item for the 13th Annual Chair Extraordinaire Fundraiser
Art & Soul Hair Studio has generously donated our ‘Forever Tree’ to the Resource Center for Suicide Prevention’s annual fundraiser, The Chair Extraordinaire.
The ‘Forever Tree’ is a 7’ prelit artificial Christmas tree decorated entirely in dried flowers grown and dried at our little farm. It is a project that will be more than a year in the making and will feature an estimate 2500+ stems. We will be posting lots of pictures as we grow, hang, cure and affix them over the summer and into the early fall. Please watch for opportunities to be involved in this project as we are hoping to invite the community to the farm to help harvest for this important cause.
The dinner, auction, raffles and dance are to be held at the TARA Center at Evergreen park September 23, 2023. If you would like to see the tree in person or bid on it during the live auction, please visit RCSP’s website to purchase tickets to the event.
Open Farm Days
We are participating in Open Farm Days again this year but in a new way! We are hosting a Farm 2 Table dinner in the center of The Flower Patch. Guests will get to tour 10,000 sq. ft. of specialty cut flowers and learn what and how we grow them, best harvest techniques and tips on how to get the longest vase life from their flowers. After the tour, they will get to select and cut their own blooms and make an arrangement to take home but not before having dining amidst the flowers. Fresh produce from the garden, locally sourced beef grilled garden side by Renny’s Smokehouse and BBQ, artisan bread and seasonal desert served at a long table surrounded by flowers, what could be better?! This event is ticketed with limited space available. Tickets can be purchased under the ‘Book A Visit’.
The evening includes the garden tour, u-pick flower experience, long table dinner with desert, 2 cocktail pairings from Latitude 55. Event will run rain or shine (we will have a tent in case of rain) and is non-refundable. Please feel free to contact us directly should you have any questions.
Wiley James Hat Making Workshop

Wiley James Hat Co. is back in The Flower Patch! Customize your straw hat with dried florals, leathers, ribbons or laces. You will also get to tour the cut flower gardens, select and cut your own fresh bouquet and enjoy some Farm 2 Table snacks!
QT Photography Mini's
Qavah Tiede from QT Photography is back in the Flower Patch and doing mini sessions! Don’t miss a great opportunity to have a family photo amidst the blooms, in the old truck, at the cabin or any other spot at the garden that speaks to you. Hand Tied Bouquet Workshop at the Centennial Museum in Beaverlodge
Learn key techniques in making your own beautiful hand tied bouquet with fresh local flowers! The Flower Cart will be stocked with the seasons best local filler and focal flowers as well as foliage and grasses. You will get to choose your own stems and then learn to arrange them. All equipment and supplies are included. If you have a vase you would like to take your arrangement home in, feel free to bring it with you! Find this class under ‘Book A Visit’.

Yoga in The Flower Patch
Breathe in the fresh air garden side in a yoga class at The Flower Patch. Sam, from Embrace It Fitness, will lead you through a mindful movement practice as you tune in with your surroundings and observe the gifts of Mother Nature.
The class is followed by refreshments and snacks and a chance to cut some of the last stems of the season if you like. All levels of Yogies welcome. Please bring your own mat.

Harvest Festival at Centennial Museum
