Our Story

Looking back, it seems only appropriate that it was a winding path that has led me to the garden. I have been a wedding and event coordinator, worked in retail and in non-profit and spent more than a decade working in a veterinary clinic. Not any of which would lead you to guess that I would end up a flower farmer and yet each of these careers have taught me many things that apply.

I have grown a garden for 20+ years - really as long as I had a place of my own. The original garden on the farm was built for my sister and I to share. But as lives evolve, I found myself with more produce than my family could use and I began to sell the extra. I really enjoyed the work. The act of supplying families with healthy local vegetables was good for my soul. In 2020, when many of us experienced such life changing circumstances, I decided to pursue farming fulltime and the gardens have grown each year since.

We now offer fresh organically grown produce to our community via special farm 2 table garden dinners & our farm store during the growing season. 2021 marked our first year adding a cut flower garden. For the first time, we welcomed people to the farm to tour the gardens and cut their own bouquets in ‘The Flower Patch’.

In the years to come we hope to provide nutritious tasty fruits and vegetables to our community and share our farm with folks in The Flower Patch.
